1993年に東京・原宿にて誕生した「A BATHING APE®」は、2020年にリリースしたデビューアルバムがビルボードR&BアルバムチャートランキングTOP5にランクインした「JESSIE REYEZ」とタッグを組み、お互いの美学を融合させたコレクションを2021年8月14日(土)にリリースします。
A BATHING APE®", which was born in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1993, has teamed up with "JESSIE REYEZ", whose debut album released in 2020 ranked in the top 5 of the Billboard R&B album chart, to release a collection that combines the aesthetics of both parties. The collection will be released on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

彼女のレーベル「FMLY」を配したタンクトップは2カラーで展開され、ミリタリーテイストを取り入れたカラーリングとなっている。
彼女が最も気に入っているというCOLOR CAMOのパープルを全面に施したTEEはシャークモチーフが本コレクションのオリジナルカラーとなるイエローに変身。「JRZ」、「FMLY」など彼女のシグネチャーのデザインが散りばめられている。
BAPE STA™ MIDには1st CAMOをさりげなく落とし込み、彼女の“モットー”である「Be Real Or Die」 をベルトのストラップに施したデザイン。
The tank top with her label "FMLY" is available in two colors and has a military taste.
Her favorite tee, the COLOR CAMO purple tee, features a shark motif in yellow, the original color of this collection. Her signature designs such as "JRZ" and "FMLY" are scattered on the tee.
The BAPE STA™ MID features a subtle 1st CAMO design and her "motto" "Be Real Or Die" on the belt strap.

Q1: BAPE®と初めてのコラボレーションですが、まず感想を聞かせてください。
How do you feel about your first ever BAPE® collab project?
A1:とてもうれしいです。アイテムの出来栄えには文字通り大満足。それから私って人間がどれだけこだわり屋でディティールにこだわっているかを知る重大な声明そのモノだわ。
Happy. I literally love how everything came out, and that’s a heavy statement considering how picky and meticulous I am.
Q2: BAPE®についてどう思いますか
What do you think about BAPE®?
A2:BAPE®は永遠に私にとって特別なブランドの一つで、BAPE®は一貫して自らのブランドを再構築することができたので、時がたっても侵されることがない遺産を作ることができたのだと思います。このような時代を超越したブランドに協力し、貢献できることをうれしく思います。
BAPE® is one of those special brands that has been around forever but has managed to build a legacy impermeable to time because they’ve been able to reinvent themselves consistently. I’m happy to be able to collaborate and contribute to such a timeless line.
Q3: あなたはメンズサイズのＴシャツやパンツをユニセックスアイテムとして製作するなど、ユニークなアイテムづくりを提案されています。今回のコレクションで使われているディティールに関して少しコメントいただけますか?
You featured Unique ideas like featured Men’s size Tees and Pants as Unisex items in the collection. Can you comment for other details feature in the collections? What is your label FMLY stand for? Family?
A3:Tシャツは私のお気に入りの服だから。今回制作したコラボTシャツの出来栄えにはとっても満足しているわ。私たちはTシャツの生地の色に関して何度も行ったり来たりの意見交換をし合ったんだけど、このパープルカモの色合いは完璧。イエローのロゴデザインを本当にポップにしているし、特に袖の「FMLY」ロゴは際立ってるわ。
I am so pleased with how our T-shirt collaboration came out. We went back-and-forth quite a lot on colors, but this combination of purple shades is everything. It really makes the yellows pop. Especially the FMLY that’s on the sleeve.

FMLY is my collective, my label. Phonetically, it is representative of the people who have my heart in this world and of how I feel about the people on my team. It’s representative about how I feel about those who have supported my music, connected to my secrets and made this life that I am living possible. At the base of it, it is also the initials of some of the people I love most.
Q4: 最近取り掛かっているプロジェクトは何ですか？新曲の予定などありますか？新曲の予定などありますか？
What is your current project? Your Fans in the world can expect your new songs soon?
A4:私が息をしているとき、私は音楽を作ってるわ。止まることはないの。でも今この時点では私はダイヤモンドを磨いているところ。準備ができたら、準備万端ってこと。そしてその準備ができたら素晴らしいものになるわ。
If I am breathing, I am making music. It hasn’t stopped, but at this point I’m just polishing a diamond. It’ll be ready when it’s ready. And when it’s ready, it’s going to be great.
