Lil Wayneに続くニューオリンズ出身の期待のホープとしてシーンに現れ、The AlchemistやWiz Khalifaとコラボ作品をリリースするなど、名だたるアーティストを虜にしてきた、実力派ラッパー・CURREN$Yとのジョイント作。ボディはブルーの同系色で統一し、バックステーには自身のレーベル“Jet Life”を刻印。ヒール部分の「BAPE STA」のロゴとライナーはイエローでアクセントが加えられている。
「今回のコラボは長い人生において、いずれ実現すること予測していた」というCURREN$Yの歴史に刻まれる名作だ。

2020年7月11日(土)より、BAPE STORE®各店およびBAPE.COM WEB STORE (www.bape.com)、ZOZOTOWN(https://zozo.jp/men-brand/abathingape/)にて発売します。

This is a collaboration project between BAPE® and CURREN$Y, an accomplished worldwide famous rapper out of New Orleans following Lil Wayne, who has enamored and collaborated with big-name artists like The Alchemist and Wiz Khalifa. Blue toned colors streamline the look and the backstay is engraved with a black stamp of “Jet Life”, the rapper’s record label. The “BAPE STA” logo on the heel and the liner are adorned in a vibrant yellow color. The rapper expressed, “I predicted that this collaboration will happen, sometime in my long life”. You can be sure that this will be one of the masterpieces in CURREN$Y’s history.
